boot order
I create 2 logical drive on smart array 431 : array A 5x18G Raid 5, array B 1x9G Raid 0. I need to install the WinNT 4.0 on the 9G drive but the system keep trying to boot on the 68G Raid 5. Any solution to assign the boot order to array B without re-configure the Array?

Re: boot order
boot your system to the f10 partition...( if installed..if not download and run the system configuration utility from compaq..does the same thing) hit control A for advanced mode..then choose first option (beleive its configure system) then first option again...(beleive its configure hardware ) it will then say "please wait loading configuration files...on the next screen choose review or modify hardware settings and then "view or edit details" scroll down the list and find your controllers..they will show boot priority such as first or second etc...change the one you want to boot first to first...save and exit...NOTE if you do a bios update after doing this or run erase utility OR clear cmos settings you will have to come back in here and set this again..
