Solutiona presented Vdisk from an EVA is a physical disks for Windows, so you need to use the physical disk counters. There are different counters, so you should play with it to see what kind of data each counter delivers.
Best regards,
Patrick

Normal behaviour of perfmon. He has to add the EVA performance counters manually.

Re: Command View EVAPerf with CV 7.01
I am having the same exact problem as you describe. We have the same CV7.01. It is a Storage server we have in this environment for the SMA. We just uninstalled and reinstalled CV no changes. Have you resolved your issues as of today April 23,08?
We are thinking of trying CV 6 to see if we could possibly get this to work. CV 8 ? dont know if I want to try yet.
Regards Randy

Re: Command View EVAPerf with CV 7.01
I have tried setting HEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EVAPMEXT\Performa
nce\Disable Performance Counters to 0 on windows registry, but nothing happens.
Do you know if anyone is going to resolve the problem?

Re: Command View EVAPerf with CV 7.01
I had the same problem and I fixed it yesterday.
You must start the HP EVA Performance data collector service, after that you can read the eva counters.
Good luck.

Re: Command View EVAPerf with CV 7.01
This is the response from HP Support.
"the windows 2003 64 bit has issues with evaperf and wonâ t be fixed until future revs. Current revision is command view 8 and it still has issues with evaperf. Take a look at the release notes on page 18 under limitations"
