commanview SDM v1.07.01
Hi
I received an va7400 array and need to setup the default username and password so i can use commandview sdm to configure. i reset the password to AUTORAID through the rs232 but i dont know the default username or how to set it up on the storage array.
does anybody know how to do this.

Eddie,
That password AUTORAID in the VA has nothing to do with cvsdm security. The password is only used when accessing the lun security table. The default account for cvsdm 1.07 is administrator administrator but maybe its easier to disabled security, the default in version 1.08.
See SECURITY_ENABLED=true, in file:
opt-sanmgr-commandview-server-config-PanConfigParams.txt
