Re: different
The "1" ;-)
In addition it is this:
see
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/storageworks/eva/index.html
What's new
- Up to a 24% performance improvement on EVA4100/6100/8100 arrays.
- Better capacity management and storage provisioning with new LUN shrink and growth.
- Improved reliability and availability; HP's data shows that most customers are achieving 99.999% availability with the EVA 4x00/6x00/8x00. Following HP's EVA Availability Best Practices can help customers achieve this result.
- EVA4100/6100/8100â s new point to point shelf provides a fully switched backend and redundant paths from the controllers to the disk for high data availability.
- Integration with HP Storage Essentials Standard Edition to affordably manage small to medium EVA and SANs.
IMHO the most important is the point to point connectivity.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
