Drive Roaming
Hi,
We are usuing MSA1000 (aktive-aktive).
MSA1000 Firmware Revision:7.00b1500.
Is drive roaming function posible or not at our MSA1000 sistem?

I've done drive roaming (power off, move the disk drives, power on) on an active/passive MSA1000 some time ago - worked fine except for one disk drive that had connectivity problems to the backplane :-(
The MSA1000 marked it as a failed drive. Fortunately, the original bay was unoccupied, so I moved the disk back, waited for the rebuild and then did another power-off, move, power-on cycle.
I assume that it will work with active/active firmware as well. Just follow good practices and make sure you have a good backup before you start.
Let us know if/how well it worked!
