E200 Rebuild Aborted From Read Error
Server DL160 G5
E200 controller with firmware 1.84
4 SATA drives arranged in 2 logical arrays.
Drive 4 failed, replaced with new larger drive, rebuild started automatically but then the rebuild aborted due to a read error.
Rebooted and started the rebuild again with the same result (not surprising).
Is there any way to tell the controller to ignore the error and rebuild whatever it can read, (then we could remove drive 3 and replace to rebuilt again)
I understand that this could leave us with some data loss in whatever block failed to read, but that is much better than the current situation.
Thank you
Attached is the Diagnostic report from ACU
