EVA 4000
Dear All
I have a rp8420 + HP-UX 11.23 + Oracle 10gr2 + EVA 4000 but when i create a 20GB tablespace it takes too long (app 30min).
I also use securepath to make aggregation and redundancy bu still the read/write are still very slow???????????

Please let me know the following things.
1) Type of Host Bus Adapter on the Server.
2) Type of Switch used to connect the Storage System.
3) What is the Securepath s/w version.
Also mention if you are using any Backup Software.
Were you facing this issue previously or recently. Any changes to H/w.
And also creation of a VDISK shouldnt take more than 1 min also.

2) Type of Switch used to connect the Storage System.
HP SAN Switch 4 to 32. 4GB
