Hi,
yes EVA 4100 is supported
with rp3400 on HP-UX 11.11, 11.23, 11.31
the pain is one part of the reality

You can now check this by yourself!
The HP SPOCK tool is now open to HP partners and customers.
The only thing you need is an HP Passport.

Go here and check the "compatibility tool" button:
