EVA 5000 No Description for Error Messages
Hi,
I'm trying to track down the source of a database timeout and found a number of error messages with no information provided on the StorageWorks Command View EVA GUI. A search on the interwebs produced nothing.
Alarm code: 3028
Management Server/Storage System SCell:eva-02
Cannot find description for SC Event Code: 03090018
Alarm code: 3028
Management Server/Storage System SCell:eva-02
Cannot find description for SC Event Code: 096c000f
No other hardware issues on the disk sets where this error appears.

Re: EVA 5000 No Description for Error Messages
The Command View EVA installation is missing the correct parsefile for the VCS firmware that is running on the EVA5000. You need to get hold of the correct .TXT file or the VCS firmware image (.SSS) which includes a copy, too. Then upload it via CV-EVA.
