is it possible to create a virtual snapshot on a EVA3000 disk-array, using a command line interface?

Yes, you want to have a look at SSSU (Storage System Scripting Utility).

Take a look at the "ADD SNAPSHOT" command, but remember that you need a Business Copy license for your EVA.
