LH3 NetRaid w/SCO
I have a customer that added a Raid 5 config to his second channel of the LH3 internal controller. He has had three different answers to the question of what settings to plug into SCO Unix 5.0.4 to recognize this array ( i.e., adapter, bus,id,lun). Has anyone done this before?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: LH3 NetRaid w/SCO
Erick,
ich have a LH3 with 2 channels. The first channel has on RAID5 array with 2 logical drives (LD) and the second channel has 6 logical drives. I use only the onboard NetRAID controller and my LH3 has the following settings:
LD adapter bus id lun Cannel
0 amird 0 0 0 1.
1 amird 0 0 1 1.
2 amird 0 0 2 2.
3 amird 0 0 3 2.
4 amird 0 0 4 2.
5 amird 0 0 5 2.
6 amird 0 0 6 2.
7 amird 0 0 7 2.
You see my LH3 has on the 1. channel
LD 0 and 1 and on the 2. channel LD 2 to 7.
If the 1. channel of your customers LH3 has
1 logical drive you start on the 2. channel
with:
LD adapter bus id lun
1 amird 0 0 1
If you configure the second channel with more then 1 logical drive you get the
lun 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.
I hope this help you
Manfred
