MDS600 Flashing LED errors

I have an MDS600 connected via a P812 to a DL385G7. I can't see the disks within the MDS600. Unfortunately I am remote from the device and unable to get to it fir two more days. A member of staff on site has said that the LEDs on the Fans at the rear are flashing amber. The fans are located on the same side of the MDS600 that contains all of the disks (they are all in the same drawer)
I'm throwing out ideas here but imagine that the two must be linked, is it possible that the drawer hasn't been closed properly after someone opened it?
Is there a resource I can use to look up likely causes of the flashing LEDs, everything I have seen so far simply says "fault" not terribly helpful!

TIA

David
