One of the boxes (disk enclosures) went down on MSA 1500. No arrays had more than one disk from that box so all data remains available but redundancy is lost. Is there a way to get it back online without a full restart of the MSA (requiring downtime)?
Or... is there a way to add spare disks to the degraded arrays? Normally you can do this with the Array Configuration Utility but of course when you really need it, it won't let you add a spare disk to a degraded array.

Re: MSA 1500 lost a box
I ended up restarting the MSA and that resolved the problem. Could not find any way to do so without downtime.
