MSA 50 & 605835-B21
Will the HP 1TB 6G SAS 7.2k rpm (2.5-inch) Dual Port Midline (605835-B21) drive work in the MSA 50?

Re: MSA 50 & 605835-B21
But a supported drive looks like this:
HP 500 GB 6G SAS 7.2K 2.5 inch SFF DP MDL HDD
So that's looking very similar to the one you specified. What I would wonder is if the carrier in your option is suitable for the MSA50.. Perhaps the disk is OK but does the carrier fit?

Re: MSA 50 & 605835-B21
Thanks for the quick response.
The 500GB drive you mention will be my choice if someone doesn't indicate that they have successfully used the 1TB drive in the MSA 50.
I checked the QuickSpecs for both drives, and they are identical except for capacity. One thing the QuickSpecs doesn't address is power requirement for the drives and I'm wondering if that is the reason the 1TB version is not supported.
