MSA2012i & Server 2008 3 node clustering
I recently installed a 2 node Hyper-V Failover cluster with Server 2008 Server. Everything works fine until i add a third node.
When running the validate tool for the 3 nodes, i get an error on the "Validate Multiple Arbitration". ("More than one node successfully arbitrated for cluster disk 0")
Validate SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation is ok, as well as "Validate Disk Arbitration".
I guess this has something to do with my MSA2012i configuration.
Does anyone have experience with 3 node failover clusters on Windows Server 2008?

Re: MSA2012i & Server 2008 3 node clustering
Good Day All
We have exactly the same problem, but ours is on an 8 Node Windows 2008 cluster. We have 8 x BL685c with 2 dual port HBA's connecting to 4 x FC-VC on an C7000 encl, connecting to dual fabric 8/40 Brocade SAN switches, lastly connecting to an EVA4400.
All the firmware is on the latest. MPIO DSM and HP VDS are on the latest versions.
As this test passes with only 6 paths to each LUN, it does not pass with 8 paths with "More than one node successfully Arbitrated disk x". In other word the Validate Multiple Arbitration Fails.
Sven, how did you manage to sort out your problem?
Regards
Cresswell
