N4000 problem with backup.

hi, I have a N4000 HP-UX and connected it as a C4317A, I would like to connect in C4317A a DLT4000 to my N4000 server backup.
This is possible?
How can I configure it?

As long as you are running HP-UX 11.11 or lower, this should not be a problem. DLT drives are nolonger supported at HP-UX 11.23 and higher.

Once you have it connected, an ioscan should detect it. You may have to add the stape driver to your kernel.
