physical drive not found

I have a Array controller 3200 attached with a 18 GB ultra 2 disk in my system. I'm sure all the cables are attached well. But my drive is not recognized. With the Array Diagnostic utility the error is "SLOT 15 SMART ARRAY 3200 CONTROLLER ERROR REPORT:

Controller is not configured.
SCSI Port 1 Drive ID 1 is not stamped for monitoring
Error occurred reading RIS copy from SCSI Port 1 Drive ID 1
No configuration for array accelerator boar. Can anyone help me with this problem please ?
It is a new controller and a brand new disk.

Is this new disk CPQ disk with array-compatible firmware or not?
