Question about Adding Disks to a Disk Group...

- I have 3 ungrouped disks.
- My default disk group is currently in Leveling State.
- It has only moved 1% in the last 24 hours.

Is is safe to group the 3 disks back into the disk group now?
Or should I wait till the current Leveling is 100%?

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Add them now. The leveling will restart from 0%.

Leveling is a low priority, non essential task, do not wait for it to finish.

We had once grouped 8 disks at time. ofcourse it took almost 3 days to complete levelling.

Hello,

leveling can be a time consuming process. It's done in background with a low priority. If the EVA is under load, leveling will take a lot of time. This can be days or weeks.
