Can I connect two server to one MSA2012i without switch between them (servers and storage)? How?

Direct connect is not supported on the MSA2012i.

I read the documentation and I concluded the same as you. I didn't build the instalation, I'm trying to validate it.

So, I'm try to understand why the technical personal made that.

More clues: the storage has two controllers. One of the servers can "see" the LUN, but the other one cannot.

No I can't. I did not set up the rules and did not ask why, but this week I've heard it 2 times from HP.

"Not supported" does not always mean: "this does not work". Maybe it is not supported because nobody at HP has tested it. Maybe a strange problem was detected and it was decided that the market is too small to work on analysis, fixing and requalification.
