RAID 5 Drive Compatibility
The server experiences periodic reboots and I was wondering if there is a possibility that the one drive isn't compatible with the other three in the array. I haven't found a page on this on HP's site. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: RAID 5 Drive Compatibility
just in case can you write down the other model from the other hard drive
but I dont think the server it's rebooting fr that
windows machine? W2003
any error on event viewer? Integrated
management Log? Array Diagnostic utilitiy?
do you have PSP(proliant support pack) 7.6 for W2000 and 7.9 for W2003
and what about Firmware CD 7.8

Re: RAID 5 Drive Compatibility
BD0728A4C4, BD07285A25, and BD07285A25. I guess I'm just asking if this particular model of drive (BD017B7B4C) configured in a RAID 5 with the other models could be a problem. Thanks, again.

Re: RAID 5 Drive Compatibility
Ok i think I much better if you write down here the spare part number from the hard drives
xxxxxx-xxx
it's much easier to compared that because you're telling us that everything is up to date
