RAID 5 to RAID 0
Hi,
we are rellocating an HP-UX server and we have already removed all LV's and VG's from a RAID5, unbound the LUN's. But we've been unable to use this disks as a RAID0, or even 'individual disks'. SAM shows only RAID0/1,RAID3,RAID5 and "spare" options when we try to bind a new LUN. It's a "Model 34" Array Controler, and HP-UX is 11.00. By the way, we tried to use "stm" to bind the new LUN's, but Expert Tool is disabled.
Thanks,
Eduardo.

Re: RAID 5 to RAID 0
Hi Eduardo,
Try running the following
arraydsp array_id
If that returns info about your array, then the commands you need to use are located in /opt/hparray/bin & you'll be using
arraycfg
arrayfmt
arraymgr
etc.
HTH,
Jeff
