SA431 Hanging

We have a new DL380 Proliant which we have installed a Smart Array 431. When we run the Array Configuration Utility during SmartStart it stops and hangs at "detecting controllers". I can "see" the controller detecting drives at boot up so I believe it is working but the Array Configuration Utility (ver. 2.70) won't run. Any one have any ideas?

This could be a firmware issue on the Smart 431. What version are you presently running??
Also make sure it is on the primary bus.
We are here for a good time, not a long time!

Apparently it is a known issue with the 431 conflicting with the integrated array controller on the DL380. Compaq had us remove the integrated array controller and the 431 works fine now. Thanks.
