I'm searching for a document which describes the cabling (enclosure and can bus) for an EVA4x00/6x00. I need it for a workshop. I found some links about the EVA Configuration Guide, but none of them worked.
Thanks for advice.
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: Searching for EVA cabling document
According to Google's cache, the configuration guide should be here:
http://bizsupport.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01077571/c01077571.pdf
however that link is currently giving a 404 error for some reason.
Not sure whether that's deliberate or not...
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Searching for EVA cabling document
I searched like so:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=enterprise+virtual+array+hardware+configuration+guide+4x00+site%3Ahp.com
The document ID would appear to be 5697-6787, but I've just had a good search around itrc.hp.com and can't find that anymore :-(
Cheers,
Rob

SolutionAs far as I know the cabling is pretty much the same. I think the only difference is that the 4000 has two mirror ports...
I've got a copy of the 3/5000 hardware configuration guide, however it's 40MB so I can't post it here...
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Searching for EVA cabling document
okay, that's enough for me. :) I do have a copy of the EVA3000/5000 configuration guide. So all questions answered. :) Thank you very much, Rob.
Best regards,
Patrick
