Hi,
Anyone knows if there are special sfp modules for the host ports on an EVA6000 system? I tried to use sfp's from HP san switch, but that did not work.

Hi,
In EVA 6000, there are 2 type of controllers. One is with 2Gb Host port and other is 4Gb host port.
If the controller model is HSV200 then we can use the first part number. if it is either HSV200-A or HSV200-B then we need to use 4Gb SFP
The part numbers are as below
229204-001 - 2Gbps short wave Small Form Factor (SFP) transceiver module - 300m (984ft) limit - Has LC connectors
416729-001 4Gbps short wave Small Form Factor (SFP) transceiver module
Regards,
Siva
