VA7100 doesn't initialize - get No Map
I am now to HP storage and received a VA7100 from HP for eval and will be using a W2K/AS host. Right now, I just want to check the configuration, but when I attach to the serial port the array status shows "No Map >" and does not respond. It does initialize and shows the hex codes 02 thru 26, but instead of Ready it displays No Map. How do I get the CLI prompt so I can format and reconfigure the unit?

Re: VA7100 doesn't initialize - get No Map
New install? 1 or 2 controllers?
Firmware? possibly reseat battery(s) reboot array, but be careful there. Hyperterminal? What are your settings?
Call us @ 970-635-1500...choose VA options. We can help.
