VA7100 to VA7410 upgrade

I would like to upgrade my VA7100 to a VA7410 do I need to replace the whole unit to get the 2GB back-end or is there and upgrade path of some sort replacing controllers and if so does HP offer some sort of trade in credit. If not the VA7410 can this sort of thing be done going to a VA7110....please advise

Yes, it's possible. Replace both controllers and 256MB DIMMs. May need to replace power supplies.
Upgrading requires data backup, upgrade, reformat and data restore.
For trade-ins please contact your local HP support center
