Amber LED Always On
I have recently upgraded a Proliant 3000R to Windows 2000. In the process I converted the system from a Simplex hard drive system to Duplex with the Compaq conversion kit. The issue is that the Amber LED's on the Hard Drives are constantly on. All diagnostics show there are no faults and there are no POST errors. I was able to configure the array with no problems.
I have compared the Duplex setup to three other Proliant 3000R's and it is identical as far as I can see.
The Array Controller is a SMART DH with firmware version of 4.50.
