Device not ready
We have 2 SCSI [9 & 18] installed in a SP700 workstation, upon start up the boot disk is fine however error states: "Device not readyce at HBO 0,ID1, LUN 0".
Running LSILogic Symbios SYM8952U PCI to Ultra2 SCSI Adapter.
This drive is still recognised by Compaq Diagnostics but can't be read.
Is there any way of fixing this [and retrieving the data!!]?

Re: Device not ready
Not sure about this one... Sounds like the drive's had it. I would recommend calling it in to check out live.
