disk firmware
All drives on the shelf show as ST336704LC
Revision levels from diskinfo -v commands show
rev level: HP03
rev level: HP03

rev level: HP03
Have searched the firmware web site but can not locate any firmware for this model drive.

It doesnt seem to be available for the seagate disks you have.
If its not available for download, then its not deemed a necessity by HP.
If you want them to be upgraded then HP will come and do it as a service call

Firmwares for these disks are not downloadable.
If you have a hardware support contract then you can ask at HP for these firmwares.

While I don't care most of the time, disks with different firmwares on one bus sometimes really cause some pain.

I'll confirm all earlier responses.
Only *large* shops can even hope to get the FW *plus* utilities to apply these type updates & can get these type FW from HP.
So place a HW/SW call to the response ctr to have your friendly CE come out to do this.
They have these magical CDs that can do wondrous things 8~))
