Drive Info?

I'm trying to find quickspecs and/or any docs on a 10k 18.2 WU2 SCSI drive.

Compaq N: 349541-001
Compaq Spare: 386540-001
Model Number: BC01821938
Mag: Sea gate
Sticker on the side with 03-30-99

I was sold three of these drives as "New, Hot-Pluggable" but I don't believe they are. Showed up in old drive trays, 68-pin interface, gray/putty colored levers. I would like to dispute this claim with data to back up the dispute but I'm not having much luck finding the info. Searched the Compaq site, and document archives from 1999 forward...
