Error Message: 1720 - SMART Hard drive detects imminent failure (failing attr: 05)

What do i do about this error message.

Get a new HDD quick.

The SMART detection error is the calm before the storm, meaning failure is coming.

If this drive is in a RAID array you maybe able to simply swap it out (depending on RAID level employed). If it's a single disk (JBOD) I'd suggest imaging the drive, replacing it and applying the image to the new drive.

I like a clean bowl & Never go with the zero

how do i know if it is in a RAID array or JBOD
