Firmware versions compatibility
Hello,
I have a fabric built in with two 1Gb/16 ports switches and one 2Gb/16 EL ports switch.
I have a doubt :
Are fully compatibles the firmware version of my old switches (ver 2.6.0c) and my new switch (ver 3.0.2f) to built the same fabric?
tnks

Re: Firmware versions compatibility
It's imperative that yoo check the SAN design guide. There is a section on the interoperability between the different switches.

Some of the older 1 Gbit ones are not compatible with newer versions. They might work together in the same fabric, but they are not supported together. There is a difference.
