Hard Drive Installation

I recently purchased a Seagate hard drive, Model ST1480N with pre-installed Windows 95 on it and the shrink wrapped Windows 95 cd-rom and book. In order to comply with the compliance guidelines I understood, as did the seller, that this was the only way I could legally purchase Windows 95. Now I need to install the hard drive and haven't a clue on how to do this. I need help.

What system? This is a non-Compaq drive... Seagate would be the primary contact point on this, normally...
