help with scsci hot swap drive
I have a 18.2 gb scsi drive in my server and it had the activity led green status on a static mode, no blink, and the server can`t see it, please somebody tell me what means this static led and how can I solve the problem

Have you re-boot the server? If so, and the light is still constant you should run the Server Diagnostics or ACU to make sure the controller can see the drive at boot.
It could be trouble at the backplane or just a flaky drive.

IO issue or bad drive, first system should see the Hardware component then you can work at the volume level.
Some details are missing, are runing HP-UX ? was the disk part of a volume group .. is it part of a DiskArray of some sort ?
