HP DS2405 support MSCS Active/Passive cluster?
I can't find anything that says MSCS is supported on this system. Can anyone comment?

Re: HP DS2405 support MSCS Active/Passive cluster?
Sheldon.
The DS2405 is a 'JBOD' (Just A Bunch of Disks) which means that there's no RAID controller in it. Fibrechannel Host Bus Adapters also do not have RAID logics on them so it's not good to use this as a shared storage for a MSCS cluster.
You CAN use the DS2405 on a cluster when you connect it to a VA7410 (which does have RAID logics built in).
HOpe this helps.

Re: HP DS2405 support MSCS Active/Passive cluster?
it works...
but MSCSC don't support software RAID
your cluster will not have disk redundancy... it's not a good idea :-(
