HP Netserver LH3 Disk
On a netserver LH3 i have two Fijitsu 18 gig hard drives 3184MC how do i make each Drive indipentant of each other i want both drives set one as (C) and the other as (D)

LH3 so you have both Internal non-hot swap and External Hot Swap SCSI drive bays available, but since the Fujitsu part numbers end in MC, I will assume these are 2 Hot Swap drives.
To use them as individual drives and the RAID controller, you must go into the RAID controller setup ( when asked) and create a RAID 0 configuration logical drive for each physical drive. THen Initialize (format) the logical drive and then, with the proper RAID controller driver, it will be available to the OS.
OR you can just go into the BIOS and disabble the RAID controller channels all together if you are not going to use them. If you do you will be using the hot swap bays as normal SCSI off the onboard SCSI contoller without the RAID. Again you will need a driver for the LSI SCSI controller
