need disk type
Hi all,
I'm trying to format some drives on an Ultrix 4.3 box and can't find the disk type for a Seagate ST51080N drive for 'newfs'. I've gone through Seagates site, and some other googling, does anyone have tips or sites to look at for finding this info?
Just in case I'm not making myself clear, a Seagate ST31230N has a disk type of RZ26H. Least, that's what I use to get newfs to work with that disk :P
Thanks!
CH

Re: need disk type
Solved. Using the partition twice allows newfs to figure it out. Here's the link
