Pbs with C2490A

My con fig: Windows 98 on AsusP2B 128Mo with Advansys PIC Ultra Scsi Bus Aster ABP-970U Boos v2,6.
On ID#7 Host :
ID#6 1st ID Quantum fireball ST3-2s 3Go,
ID#3 Pioneer CDrom-DR-u06s and
ID#4 Mitsubishi CDRW226 with Terminator at the end of cable.
ID#0 Compaq C2490A

I ll like to run The Compaq C2490A 2,1 Go on ID#0 on my system.

I ve seen on docs (on this web site) the default settings for C2490A.

Setting: :::::||: :: :::: for pluggable drive Tray

do i need a pluggable or not pluggable confiration.

Is it important ??

So, the Host adapter bios 'see' the HD, but don't boot. Boot failure.

Advansys's support told me than i have to disable the 'Target control' for the ID's C2490A.
Now the system boot, but Windows stop.
it waiting something. ( I don't know what :+)) )

You may need to find a drive that's compatible with the controller . The C2490A may not be compatible with this controller .
