SCSI Hard drive Jumper Setting for E800

Does Anyone have a diagram of what the pin layout is for a SCSI Hard Drive 9.1 GB (D7049A)
as I need to make some mods change ID's ETC

Cannot find it any where

Re: SCSI Hard drive Jumper Setting for E800

hi
the HP product number D7049A is valud for a few hdd from differents producers, so the best thing to do is to check the product number of the producer (IBM,SEAGATE,QUANTUM...) and give us, or to check directly on the producer web-site

The D7049A can be from Seagate (ST39102LW/ST39103LW)or Fujitsu (MAG3091LP).
You can distinguish this from the identification string of the disk.
If it's 9.10GB A 80-F309 then it's a Fujitsu MAG3091LP.
If it's 9.10GB B 68-8C03 or 9.10GB B 68-8C02 then it's a seagate ST39103LW.
If it's 9.10GB B 68-1208 then it's s seagate ST39102LW.

You can look up the pin layout on the vendors' webpage.

Marco.
