xb3000 hard drive kit
HELP MR WIZARD.....HELP
I am trying to install my own sata hard drive in my xb3000 expansion base. When I explained to HP what I was doing they sold me the carriage to mount the hard drive. They failed to mention that the power adapter did not come with the carriage. Now nobody in customer support can tell me what the part number is for the 30w 12v 2.5a power adapter.
I spent a day in customer service hell today. I wasted over four hours on the phone. I was told the 90w adapter was what I needed, I was told that there was not an adapter for the hard drive kit, I was transfered almost 20 times, disconnected 3 times and was generally treated like I was the idiot.
If anyone out there has the actual part number I would be forever in your debt.
Thanks
Chris
