Zip drive

I am considering buying a HP Pavilion CT963 going on sale at WalMart over Thanksgiving. My old computer has an internal Zip drive, which I love and want to keep. Will I be able to install it in the HP?

Re: Zip drive

Is your zip drive atapi/ide or scsi?

If it's ide, then most likely yes, if your new Hp has scsi and it's scsi then yes.

Re: Zip drive

I don't know atapi or scsi. It's an IOmega 100 megabyte. I had it installed in my Toshiba about 3 years ago.

Re: Zip drive

Probably IDE, and it should be installable, and it is already probably configured to be a slave. Got any great PC people around, 'cause I'd ask them to take a look at the toshiba.
