Well, only twice a year.  And since you have to enter it N times a day, you should easily remember it too.  :-)

This is HP Passport and nothing to do with the EBC forum.  This needs the higher level of security since it is used in more places.

Hmm, I thought I was trying to login to the forum when it said I needed a new password.

I suppose we could wait another 6 months to figure this all out.

If this is HP Passport in general, it may not know there aren't any "more places".  I.e. one size fits all.
