Searching just Trim forums

OK I'm lost.  How do I search just the TRIM forums?  I could do this before but the functionality seems to have disappeared.  At the forum home page I can search by Community, Board & Category.  I keep coming up with lots of results from other HP forums. 

I'm using the search box on the right hand side of this page;

This should work fine.  Provided the search type is CATEGORY.

Yeah, even after chosing 'Category' I still got results from the entire community also...  :S

Hi Grundy, I wouldn't do that to you guys. There's an option in Openview to submit non-Trim cases.

Type of case: Non Technical/Business
Problem Category: Website Functionality

Hi BGroot.  I was originally searching the term "social media".  There were others but this produced the most non-Trim results.

I don't think this is just TRIM related. If you search in any category/board the you get results from everywhere even with the search scope selected to category or board

Yes Peter.  I think it affects the whole site, but it makes it difficult to access Trim specific information.   I've reported to the people that control the forums.

Right.  If you search starting at: Welcome to the Community (a category), you see on the search page:

If you really want to limit your search until it is fixed, you can select:

By location (on left)

Software > Product Families Community > Information Management Community > Records Management (TRIM)

Then the search has:

Discussions  in Records Management (TRIM) [X]

And as Peter said, Boards are broken the same way.

This path is now:

Software  > Products > Records Management (HP Records Manager and HP TRIM)

Thanks for pointing that out Dennis, you're correct with the workaround.

We are working with the vendor to get this fixed, so that search option functions correctly.

A fix has been loaded into the community which has fixed the search issue. You will now only see results from a category and board level when searching at that level.

If you are still experiencing issues, please let me know.

You have to first push GO for the search, then open all of those links to get down to that category.

Since it is working, you now don't need to follow those links.
