BC copy

Hi ,

We have the production disk and we are planning to create the business copy. So if i am doing the paircreate then it will create all the strcture as it is on bc copy like volume group , lv , file system etc. so my queries

1) Do i need  to create the vg , lv  before ccreating the pair or the pair create will do it.

2)  I have the production volume . could you please provide the inital steps to create the bc copy

I got the answer

1) We have to create the VG

2) we have to create the pair with production volume using paircreate.

Its like a volume copy at storage level.
