KZPCC RAID0+1
I have a KZPCC controller installed in an ES40 with six drives connected. I want to setup one RAID0+1 logical drive using 4 x 36GB and 2 x 146GB disks. I believe the controller will reduce the 146GB disks to 36GB therefore no benefit of using 146GB disks.
Can someone confirm this for me?
This is the case on the KZPAC controller.

Re: KZPCC RAID0+1
Hi Wayne,
The KZPCC is a different animal to the KZPAC... It's an Adaptec based card rather than Mylex.
However I think you're correct in your assumption that with 6 drives in a RAID 1+0, the controller will only use the first 36GB of the 146GB drives.
Cheers,
Rob
