I worked for HP from 2000 to 2008, supporting high performance computing and Basestar Open.
I installed AlphaServer SC45 at KISTI (Korea Institute of Science and Technology), built 4 BIO databases, and built MES (Manufacturing Execution System) at POSCO using BASEstar Open on hp Itanium server.
I think the hp Basestar Open is a good product, but it is unclear whether it is currently supported.
I would like to know if I can get Basestar Open from hp and install or test it.

SolutionHello,
It is great to hear from a former HP employee, thank you for reaching out us!
This is the search result in HPE Support Center for Basestar. Apart from documents "OpenVMS VAX Version 7.3 Upgrade and Installation Manual - September 2001" and "Porting Applications from HP OpenVMS Alpha to HP OpenVMS Industry Standard 64 for Integrity Servers - January 2005", there are no downloads found for Basestar. Apart from this no items are seen in section "Drivers and Software".
Regards,
I work at HPE
