Procurve E2620 - Stacking Issue
Hi All,
Having difficulties adding a HP Procurve to a stack.
- Candidate = Procurve E2620
- Commander = Procurve 2560 (J4899A)
- Stack contains 11 members, including commander
- Commander is set to auto-grab
- E2620 is set to Candidate, Auto-Join, and Interval = 60 seconds
- Reboot does not effect commander seeing candidate
- No password for Manager on E2620
Any assistance here?

Re: Procurve E2620 - Stacking Issue
Fixed by removing switch from stack via command line. Then auto-Joining switch to stack via command line.
The GUI didn't seem to work.

Re: Procurve E2620 - Stacking Issue
I'm having the same issue here with a 2530 as stack commander, and a 2620 as a candidate.
I'm not understanding how you "removed" the switch from the stack if you never got it to add in the first place?
