Changing controllernumbers made by Securepath
All,
I have recovered (cloned) a system with ignite and now secure path has chosen different controllernumbers for the presented disks.
Where the disk used to be c20t0d0 it is now c28t0d0.
How can this be changed back?
SP 3.0D HPUX 11.11
Thanks in advance,
Klaas Eenkhoorn

Re: Changing controllernumbers made by Securepath
Klaas
did you make a vgexport before restoring, didn't you?
As EVA isn't supported with Ignite (see Ignite Release Notes), if you are going to make a Ignite restore the tags are needed in the disks to make the vgimport.
DOn't know if there another solution to the issue. Maybe a vgrestore or simply rebuilding the vg's
