Command View 6.02 and VMWare
I noticed after an upgrade from 5.x to 6.02 that the host operating systems listed when creating a new host no longer contains an entry for VMWare. Has anyone tried to do an upgrade of CV to 6.02 and how does that Host Operating system list for the VMWare servers? If creating a new VM Host are we now back to using the HEX Custom Code of 000000002200282E?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Command View 6.02 and VMWare
I guess I should have been more specific. I have a few systems that I manage with 1 CV instance. On the ones that have a VM server attached the option is there to select VMWARE as a Host OS. On the systems where there is not a VMWARE Host attached the option is missing from the drop down list. This EVA happens to be 3100 VCS code. I don't know why it wouldn't be in the drop down.....

Re: Command View 6.02 and VMWare
Hi Brian
Then maybe it is a issue with fw 3.100, we
are running on 3.028!?!
Are you running 3.100 on the other systems where wmvare shows up also?
I am very cautious with new versions and always tries to use one new version at a time to make sure nothing stops working.
how about contacting HP Support about this?
Regards
