Command view EVA not detecting HSV controllers
i am installing a new EVA5000
the EVA5000 came with VCS V3.010, SMA V2.1 and command View EVA V3.0
i upgraded Command View to V3.1 and i was able to see the uninitialazed storage.
once initialized and Luns configured and after a SMA reboot, i was not able to see the Stoarge using Command View;the pop up message error is no controllers connected to the SAN were found.
can anyone help me with that.

Re: Command view EVA not detecting HSV controllers
If zoning looks ok, as a last resort reboot the Management Appliance.

Re: Command view EVA not detecting HSV controllers
It may not be causing your problem, but the management appliance must be in its own zone, you will have major problems if you try to boot from the SAN if there is no zoning on your switch.
